How many guests can we accommodate?
Occupancy varies by room/area:
The Bar Room can accommodate up to 70 seated guests. (85 with barstools)
The Grand Room can accommodate up to 200 to 250 tabled guests (8-9 per table) comfortably.
The Patio can accommodate up to 400 guests.
The Lawn can accommodate up to 200 guests.

We will set up tables and chairs for you. You may move them to accommodate your exact needs
Outdoor events are dependent on weather forecasts, wetness of grounds, etc.
We will provide a staff for cleanup, with exception to bodily fluids… etc.
Do you have audiovisual?
We do! Here’s what we have on hand:
Sound System throughout individual rooms/venue
Universal connection to event center audio
Two wireless microphones
Two 75” flat screen TV’s w/ mobile stands & laptop hookup
Do you provide table linens?
We are happy to provide table linens for rent at $10 each in a variety of colors
Can I use my own caterer or other vendors?
We have an open vendor policy including caterers. All caterers must be approved by
The Ivory Chateau.
Can we bring in our own food or potluck?
Yes. Food brought in from a source other than a licensed and insured caterer is allowed as well. Please note The Ivory Chateau does not provide beverage dispensers, cups/glasses, plates, napkins, flatware or wait staff
Can we use the kitchen?
One is allowed to bring your own food into the venue as well as use of the kitchen for preparing, staging and serving food.
*If a party wishes to use kitchen cooking equipment, a licensed chef must be present per the state of Kansas.
What is your alcohol policy?
You may bring your own alcohol, or The Ivory Chateau can supply a cash bar for your event. A licensed bartender, per the state of Kansas, is required and will need to be provided by the party to serve alcohol.
Do we allow candles?
We do! As long as the candles are housed in a container that is taller than the candles to catch the wax and to ensure flames are not exposed.
Is there room for both wedding parties to get ready in?
We have a private Bridal Suite & Grooms retreat.

Are you close to Wichita, KS?
Yes! We are less than 30 minutes from downtown Wichita.
Can we come early to decorate or make deliveries or drop off our event items?
Access to the venue begins and ends at the stated time on your rental agreement. We offer daily and hourly rental access, and we are happy to work with you to create a rental package that includes the time you need for deliveries, rehearsal, decorating, clean up and more.
How do I book my event?
Give us a call or send us an email. We will be happy to give you a tour and talk about your needs. To make a reservation you will need to complete a rental agreement and pay a non-refundable deposit to hold your date.
Is the event center accessible to persons with disabilities?
The event center is ADA approved!
How many parking spots are available?
There are approximately 200 parking spots available with more on street parking as well.
